xpdf slow
Hello there, May someone help me with the following. My xpdf is very slow on pdf files from www.archive.org. pdf is attached. xpdfrc # #- display fonts # These map the Base-14 fonts to the Type 1 fonts that ship with # ghostscript. You'll almost certainly want to use something like # this, but you'll need to adjust this to point to wherever # ghostscript is installed on your system. Get the djvu files instead. There is no way to /decently/ use big image pdf files like those, even with acrobat reader and on the latest hardware.
