Only noise from Azalia

2012-01-10 Thread Jairo Souto
I can get only noise from the audio of a notebook Acer Aspire
5820T-6825.

OpenBSD uranio.dlg 4.9 GENERIC.MP#6 amd64

The snapshots until "9051478 Jan 9 14:51 bsd.mp" have not worked.

dmesg, audioctl -a and mixerctl -av are attached.

I do need your help. Thank you.

try these:

they worked for me.

Yes, they worked for me too. Great! Thank you.

That's true.

You could try to add the PCI id of this card to the list of G80 cards
in the nv driver and see if it runs on it, but I'm not sure if the
GeForce 7000M is using a G80 chipset or something newer not yet
supported by the nv driver.

I updated xenocara from cvs, added the line you sugested in
nv_driver.c and rebuilt xenocara. Then I tried to run Xorg
without any xorg.conf and it did not run any more. Xorg.0.log is
attached.

Re: hi, i have an acer aspire 4520 too

2008-10-21 Thread Jairo Souto
I had been using Xorg vesa 1024x768. Since I updated OpenBSD-current on
october, 19 Xorg does not work anymore, in any resolution.

The sound, azalia, begun to work after the following commands:
mixerctl outputs.speaker3.eapd=on
mixerctl outputs.headphones.eapd=on
I hope these work for you.

The wireless card, bwi0, runs without any trouble.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] escreveu:

does your openbsd runs ok in the acer aspire 4520? i cant run atheros 5007, the
sound and the 1024x768 or 1280x800 modes doesnt work. can you help me?

Only noise from Azalia

2011-09-25 Thread Jairo Souto
I can get only noise from the audio of a notebook Acer Aspire
5820T-6825.
The dmesg, audioctl and mixerctl are attached for OpenBSD-4.9 and
for the 2011-09-22 snapshot.
Can anyone give me an help?
