Yes it is deprecated, i'm amazed we didn't kill it already.

You like it becsause it looks like ruby hash, i would have prefered ':'
so it looks like python hashes instead of PHP associative arrays, in the
end we kill it because it doesn't look like other OpenBSD daemons ;-)
