[mnemosyne-proj-users] Changing grade for a single card

2011-04-26 Thread jasper
Hello there.
Does anyone know if there is a way to change the grade for a single
card in the edit function. I've tried various ways but it seems to be
impossible.
Thanks,
Jasper

The only way to change the grade is through the review procedure. If
there were a way in the GUI to bypass/circumvent the grading
mechanism, that would rather defeat the purpose of it :-)

Taking a step backwards, why do you want to change the grade of a
card?

[mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Changing grade for a single card

2011-04-26 Thread jasper
Hi and thanks for the reply.
I'm studying Japanese and I sometimes come across words that I have
marked as 4 or perhaps even 5 but when I come across it in a real
setting I find that I don't know it that well after all. Within
Mnemosyne I'm quite strict about grading and I wouldn't mark the word
so high if I didn't know it instantly upon seeing the card. Of course,
once it's got a 5 it isn't going to be coming back round for a while
so I would like to go into edit mode and mark it as unknown.
