RE: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Problems starting Mnemosyne
Hi, It's a bit strange that all your latest cards are in the __TMP__ database, as this typically is an empty temporary database that was created when the previous database could not be opened. But I assume you continued with this database in the past, which is why your latest cards are there. For your info, pictures are stored in .db_media, so this directory needs to be present/copied as well. [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Problems starting Mnemosyne
Hi Peter, thanks for the quick reply. I did as you said. Now I have the error window: "unable to load file, query failed" When I klick ok it says : " If you are using a USB key, refer to the instructions on the website so as not to be affected by drive letter changes. Then the program asks me to open a database. I choose the my latest back up. Now it seems that the card are back in place. But unfortunately all the images I put in there are gone, instead there's just a questionsmark, what can I do? PS: I closed Mnemosyne and restartet it, and now there is the same error as in the beginning again. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mnemosyne-proj-users" group. Hi, It's best to delete appData/Mnemosyne/config and config.db and restart the program. RE: [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Adding Sound To Card
Hi, I'm not exactly sure what you are seeing, but if you click 'insert sound', you should get a file selection dialog. Use this to a select a sound file, and that sound file will be imported. Good luck! [mnemosyne-proj-users] Re: Adding Sound To Card
Hi, I right clicked on open space in the box and a drop down menu telling me to choose the appropriate item which in this case is the sound. But when I click on this, a new box opened up showing Backup, Default etc. There is also a box at bottom left for File Name. So, what should I do in this new box? I hope that you can walk me through as I am not very conversant with the procedure. Thank you.
