2013-11-09 Thread Faizal K A
To download the application in your Android mobile, through desktop do
the following things.
1. Open your gmail (which you have already configured with your mobile)
2. Click play
3. Click apps.
4. Type whatever apps you want to install and hit enter.
5. find the apps which you want from the list and hit enter. (If it is
already install it will show you installed).
6. Click install.
Note: Make sure you should have internet on your mobile.
You are done.

[Mobile.AI] Incorrect Date in Galaxy Core

next day will be November 11 2013 which is also the correct date. I don't know
why it is happening. How to set the correct date for my mobile?

[Mobile.AI] Some Android Doubts

2013-11-09 Thread Sinoj
Hi,
1. How to know the version of installed Apps in Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
especially for Talkback?
2. I found software updates in notifications. When I double tap on it, I have
been asked to select the country. Default country checked as UK. But didn't
find India there. There are more than 200 countries list. Not only India, I
didn't find Iran, Iraq and some other Asian countries there. What should I do?
should I proceed with UK?

Re: [Mobile.AI] Incorrect Date in Galaxy Core

2013-11-09 Thread Vikas Kapoor
It is not the problem of dates having set incorrect, rather I suppose it is
the problem of android based TTS, because if the dates written in numeric
forms, it always recognises the first 2 numbers as months and the next two
digits as dates. In other words, it recognises the dates put in numeric form
in the American format. Although I do not confront this in call log, if the
dates are specified in the text messages, it always says in the same way.

Re: [Mobile.AI] how to use gps navigation in android

2013-11-09 Thread Vikas Kapoor
Basically, it is an application which is independent of internet connection
and the map. You can create your own points, it can tell you how far or near
you are to a particular point you defined, it also has the ability to
measure the driving/walking speed along with the distance calculator.
The only added advantage as compared to Loadstone is that while swiping two
fingers right to left would tell you the current address for which you would
require the internet connection along with updated map in phone. Please
remember, it is not an app exclusively meant for turn by turn navigation.

Thanks a lot for the explanation. I'll have to work with it a bit, and
I have a platform to start.

I've never used loadstone. So I would need a bit more elaboration if
 you don't mind.

Largely it performs what Loadstone does on Nokia phones.

Is there a tutorial available on DotWalker? I've installed the app
today and would like to have a clear idea as to how to go about it.
What kind of a navigation aid is exactly? Is it a replacement for the
 navigation app in Android 4.2?
 Best,

Although the built-in application for navigation in Android is

besides that, I'm also using another app called DotWalker which is
 close
 to

Loadstone, and I find it quite useful!

Re: [Mobile.AI] Incorrect Date in Galaxy Core

2013-11-09 Thread Sinoj
Thank you very much sir. I have changed the date format to month/day/year
previously it was date/month/year. Now OK with the date, Talkback speaks the
date correctly.

Subject: [Mobile.AI] Incorrect Date in Galaxy Core

Hi,
I found a different time for Call logs and messages in my Galaxy Core.
Correct date is showing in screen. But in Call logs and Messages it shows 11
March, 11 April . When I trying to set the time in settingsDate and
time, there is also the incorrect date. But after entering to edit the date,
there I can see the correct date in edit field. Todays incorrect date is
September 11 2013, yesterday was August 11 2013, hope tomorrow will be
October 11 2013 and the next day will be November 11 2013 which is also the
correct date. I don't know why it is happening. How to set the correct date
for my mobile?
