[Mobile.AI] Braille screenguard for moto g?

2014-09-03 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
Recently I saw such screenguard on one of my friend's iPhone that has
few braille dots on the screen at the position of certain letters at
onscreen keyboard, such as on f, j, and p etc. It was too convenient
to type even on touchscreen, is it possible to have such screen guard
for moto g?

Hi Mohib,

Apart from RiVo, you might like to see Zebronics BT Keyboard available in RS
1200 or So. Though this is not as small as RiVo but can certainly prove
useful for Typing long messages/emails. It works with Moto E; don't know
about Moto G.

2014-09-03 Thread Satguru Rathi
Don't think so. At least, haven't come across any such one. RiVo website
mentions of Android specifically though which suggests it should work with
most of the android devices but others don't mention any such thing. Forget
about the OS, they don't even mention any brands with which it should work.

Hi
RIVO may be an option, however, it may not be worth the expenditure. You will
have to remember many key combinations and until and unless you use it daily,
you may not be able to use when you need to.
Using an external blue-tooth keyboard like Zebronics would probably be a better
option.

Re: [Mobile.AI] bbbuyinng new phone

2014-09-03 Thread Mahesh S. Panicker
Well, I think now there are more options beyond the Moto seies from
Motorola. Besides, the Moto G is discontinued in India as of now, and
Motorola is expected to launch Moto G 2 pretty soon. Other than that,
Xiaomi has this new launch called the SXiaomi Redmi which is even
cheaper than the Moto E and comes with much better specifications. I
am not sure Moto E is actually worth the money when you have other
options in the similar price range with better specifications. The
Zenfone 5 from Asus is another option that one can consider. It comes
in with terrific specifications, and the 8 GB version is available for
1, and unlike the Moto G, it has Micro SD card support and you can
put in a card up to 64 GB. So I would suggest you weigh your options
among Asus Zenfone 5, Xiaomi Redmi, and the upcoming Moto G 2 if your
budget is under 12000. By mid September, Samsung and LG are also
expected to come up with a few launches in the entry/mid range levels,
so it is a good idea to wait till then. If you are an existing Android
user, may be it is a good idea to hold on till the launch of the next
Android version that should happen some time in the next couple of
months, and before the end of the year, we should have more options
running the latest version of Android.

I haven't tested the Xiaomi phones, but it does come with a custom
version of Android 4.3 and the rom is used in many other phones. The
view I get from some of the mailing lists is that it is quite usable,
and even if some of the native apps aren't fully accessible, one can
always go to the playstore and download an alternative app that should
do the job in most circumstances.

not a good option for VI.
in my case iam using mycromax a121, androyed version 4.3 jellybean, but
some of the options are missing under accessibility, such as,

If this is the case with this model, what about other mycromax model,

it includes, 4 gb internal storage, up to 32 gb memmory card support,
but missing these important funtions means, no use of VI.

Re: [Mobile.AI] want to purchase Rivo external keyboard for android

2014-09-03 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafel
I have checked both keyboards as suggested above . Viz. Zebronics BT
Mini Keyboard, and iBall Mystic Blue Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard.
If I am seeing the specification of both keyboards, these are too
bulky, the zebronics is more than 7 inches long, more than 3 inches
wide and weighing 220 grams! while iBall is heavier than previous one.
I want such Bluetooth keyboard which is portable and I could carry in
my pocket alongwith mobile phone.

Re: [Mobile.AI] want to purchase Rivo external keyboard for android

Hi
Hypothetically it should work on any Android device, there is always an if
until and unless you test it on that device.

Usually the blue-tooth keyboard follow the HID protocol which makes it
universal in operation. However, RIVO have separate keyboard for IOS and
Android which gives a message, they may not be following standard protocol
after all.

how to know before buying that the perticular keyboard will work with our phone
or not?

 Hi
RIVO may be an option, however, it may not be worth the expenditure.
You will have to remember many key combinations and until and unless
you use it daily, you may not be able to use when you need to.
Using an external blue-tooth keyboard like Zebronics would probably be
 a better option.

 android

Hi friends I am having difficult time with my android in terms of
typing messages and finding contacts quickly at the time of any
imergency and at crowded places. I want to use any external physical
keyboard for quick navigation and fast typing messages etc on my
android. Therefore I want to purchase Rivo keyboard. Please help me.
If there is any cheaper external keyboard, let me take an informed
 decision.

First of all, granularity has to be selected and goes backto default every
time you touch a new area on the screen. in order to select different
levels of granularity, swipe up then right and explore the screen.
Sometimes you will directly find line/paragraph etc and at others you may
have to touch change granularity and then select the desired options.
As far as music player is concerned, you can go for music folder player.
