As you pointed out, locating items on the screen may become a simpler task with a larger screen size, but well thats about it. Tablets and mobiles just differ in screen size, so there isn't any advantage Tablts can have over mobiles. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't had practical experience to compare Tablets vs mobiles, but from my thinking/understanding, I feel what I've written above.
