I heard your message on Accessible Android for this same issue but
didn't get a chance to reply there...
Anyways, the issue you describe has no resolution. Whatsapp's latest
version has this curious bug and none has resolved it to the best of
mine and Eyes Free list's knowledge.
The only resolution you have is to downgrade to an earlier version,
which also implies that you will lose labels of many buttons.
You have to compromise on something - either endure this bug or give
up all these labelled buttons by downgradation.

There is a big issue of answering call in xaiomi mi with TalkBack however

hi list members, i am here with another queery regarding my lanovo a
6000+. i am using facebook messenger in my mobile.. there i could find
a record button which enable us to send voice messages like whats
app.. but unfortunatly i couldn't send even a single voice message by
using the fesility., even though i made several attempts.. when i hold
it and release i am getting a message 0 seconds record how to
resolve this issue? can't we able to send voice message like sighted
people?? a favourable answer is anticipated..
