Re: [Mobile.AI] Query regarding reading pdf book on Moto E

2016-06-25 Thread Raju Singh
google pdf viewer is also the good option and its always there in almost all
the phone including your moto e, but it has some remarkable limitation: 1. if
you are reading such a large books you'll get lots of trouble cause it doesn't
have the functionality of remember the last page you've left up, moreover you
can not simulate "go to page". you yourself have to remember the page and in
order to go to the page you've last read before, it require lots of swipes.
suppose you are in 100 pages, now next time you have to swipe 100 times to get
there. that's why i recommend installing at list a adobe accrobat reader for
android, this software is perfectly accessible with the latest talkback. and
it has lots of functionality like its remembers the position, you can set a
bookmard, and it also has "go to page" option and much more.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Query regarding reading pdf book on Moto E

2016-06-25 Thread nitin patel

kavita mem do not download any app if you want only for pdf reading.
because in most of the phones google gives a pdf reader along with google
drive.

and it is accessible so try it first before you download any other app.

Scanning books using mobile phone? Are you going to rely on KNFB
reader for it? if yes, it won't be much helpful for you, as it will

be

time taking and cumbursom process to scan whole book using phone
camera. If you are committed to it, you can purchase any phone which
has more than 8 mp camera, as the recognition quality depends upon

the

OCR engen and not on the phone camera, provided phone camera is able

unfortunately sir, the answer is negative. Camscanner has many
accessibility issues.

To add to what Mohib said, though the KNFB reader offers “Batch Mode”
for continuous scanning, heavy scanning won’t be possible without a
dedicated stand and would be intresting to know if there are portable
scanning stands available to carry around.
Coming to phone, accessibility and lots of other things such as
>>timely
updates, battery, etc. are other contributing factors to consider
before making a decision. Moto phones find their way ahead in most of
these fields.

Scanning books using mobile phone? Are you going to rely on KNFB
reader for it? if yes, it won't be much helpful for you, as it will
>>be
time taking and cumbursom process to scan whole book using phone
camera. If you are committed to it, you can purchase any phone which
has more than 8 mp camera, as the recognition quality depends upon
>>the
OCR engen and not on the phone camera, provided phone camera is able
to take clear picture, and 8 mp camera is fine for it. So you can
purchase any Moto, Sony, Xiaomi, LG or Opo phones, I don't recommend
anyone to purchase Samsung, as it hangs too much using talkback.
