hello! lenovo a6000 or a6000 plus are generally accessible. however, it is
notable that you need to use ear piece for selecting the sim card to call.
recent apps buttons are inaccessible.

Re: [Mobile.AI] requesting performence review of Moto G Gen 3rd.

2015-09-22 Thread Surya Prakash Sharma
Hello Mahesh,
after upgrading my Moto e 1st Gen device to Android 5.1 i'm facing
some problems. are you too facing these issues with Moto G 3rd Gen?
the issues are:
1. TB doesn't work properly with seek sliders. i'm not able to
decrease or increase brightness or media volume or ringtone volume
either by tapping on the slider or using the volume key when the focus
is set on the slider. earlier it was working well.
2.i'm also not able to use the volume key to move character by
character in an edit field.
so i'd like to confirm from you whether these issues are device
specific or Android 5.1 specific.

As per my understanding from my friends using Moto mobiles, First two are
false. 3rd: It may take 2 weeks to get back the phone, if you submitted your
phone in service centre for a major complaint. I think the service of
Motorola is far far better than Micromax. 4th: I don't have much knowledge
in this matter. However, one device is not working properly after replacing
it's board due to a small complaint. The complaint was that the ear peace
having disturbance sound, but now it is being restarted unexpectedly. Please
look for others openions also.

the other major issue was the visually impaired people were not able
to set alarm. but now the issue has been resolved although i hae not
set any alarm yet.
the other feature is, not the phone is capable to anownse the data
consumption. for e.g now the phone will tell you weather the mobile
data/wifi is idul or it is utilising the data. this could be accessed
in notification pannel.

Hi Mahesh,
thanks for the quick response. as far as the first issue is concerned,
i'm also facing the same with my Moto e 1st gen phone after upgrading
to Android 5.1. it seems that this issue is Android 5.1 specific. the
second issue related to ringer going silent, has been addressed by the
recent system update.
so if the price of iphone 5s doesn't come down to about 25k in next
few days, i would go for the Moto g 3rd gen.
thanks again for the quick response.

Hi,
The issue regarding ringtone going silent without any reason, is there
in moto e second gen 4g too. The ringtones wouldn't play even from
settings\sounds and notifications\phone ringtone. Once the handset is
restarted, it starts ringing. However, this issue is only for ringtone
and not for notification tone.

Overall, I am happy with the device. The general level of performance
is pretty good and the phone that comes with the latest Android has

However, there are a couple of issues I have noticed. There is a
problem with the notification panel when working with TalkBack.
Sometimes when there are many notifications, when you double tap a
notification, it goes to the home screen and does not open the
relevant app. Some times it would open the app associated with the
above or below notification. I am given to understand this is a
TalkBack problem as the issue does not happen when TalkBack is turned
off. But I believe this issue of TalkBack is not there on every
device, it is more device specific, or more stok Android specific.
The other issue I noticed is that sometimes, the ringer goes silent
without you activating anything. The volumes would be shown as 100 %
but the phone won't ring when there is a call. You will have to
restart the phone to get the ringer back. I haven't really explored
the issue at length to provide additional details as to whether it is
happening when TalkBack is on or whether it is a device specific
 problem as such.

 Hi,
The issue regarding ringtone going silent without any reason, is there
in moto e second gen 4g too. The ringtones wouldn't play even from
settings\sounds and notifications\phone ringtone. Once the handset is
restarted, it starts ringing. However, this issue is only for ringtone
 and not for notification tone.

I am given to understand this is a
TalkBack problem as the issue does not happen when TalkBack is
 turned
off. But I believe this issue of TalkBack is not there on every
device, it is more device specific, or more stok Android specific.
The other issue I noticed is that sometimes, the ringer goes silent
without you activating anything. The volumes would be shown as 100
 %
but the phone won't ring when there is a call. You will have to
restart the phone to get the ringer back. I haven't really explored
the issue at length to provide additional details as to whether it
 is
happening when TalkBack is on or whether it is a device specific
 problem as such.
