Leon Brocard is taking care of a big part of it, I'll drop
him a note about this, but I am not sure there is really
a process for anything on rhizomatic

there's folks on both #mod_perl and #modperl. let's drop
#mod_perl, cos the other is easier to type.

who runs rhizomatic? do they have a standard channel
registration process? can somebody in the know make that all
happen?

sweet!

I am usually on rhizomatic, and #mod_perl sounds pretty good to me.

Why don't we do that then? on irc.rhizomatic.net

hmm.. i went to #take23 on openprojects and there were 3
people idling. i went to #perl on rhizomatic and there heaps
of people. so i vote for rhizomatic.

i'm not a huge fan of #take23, i'd rather see #modperl, but
whatever.

i'd like to see doug, stas and all those folks who are
working on the core or creating Apache::* modules show up
there so we can interrogate them :)

Some of us still do. IMHO, suggesting new a channel isn't going to get
more "regulars"... If you want the channel, hang out there. That's the
only way it'll work (we're at irc.openprojects.net, #take23)

Imho #take23 would be the appropriate place. It died out when #axkit was
moved away from OpenProjects (because of them being way too flaky). #axkit is
now on rhizomatic.net (with #perl, #poe, #parrot, #london.pm, etc...) so
providing acceptance from the rhizomatic.net folks, I guess #take23 could be
moved there as well.

We used to hang on #Take23 on Openprojects for a while, but it kinda
died out..

mod_perl IRC channel

2001-06-06 Thread Matt Sergeant

Someone recently visited the mod_perl IRC channel and said they had a hard
time finding it. So I thought I'd post here again.

Come chat to other mod_perlers at:

Server: irc.openprojects.net
Channel: #take23

There's also a URL bot on the channel that publishes URLs posted to
Take23, so if you have an interesting link for mod_perl people, then you
can visit the channel and post your link LIVE! Just type your URL at the
start of the line, title it, and people can add comments to it:

 http://take23.org
The last item is named: P
 P:|Take23 - mod_perl news and resources
P:The rockingest site on the net!
 P:I agree!
 CHURN
 got me churnin'...
 I have updated http://take23.org/irclog/

See you there!
