Re: Adopt Comment::Spell?
Thanks, Neil. I’ve forked it on GitHub and should release a new version in the next few days if only to note the new maintainer. -Nigel From: Neil Bowers Date: Monday, 26April, 2021 at 04:53 To: Nigel Horne Cc: Subject: Re: Adopt Comment::Spell? Hi Nigel, I'm interested in adopting the Comment::Spell module. If you can grant me the privilege I will release the next version. I’ve just transferred the first-come permission from ADOPTME to you. Happy to see someone taking on one of Kent’s distributions — thank you. Neil

Adopt Test::HTTPStatus?
Hello, Since HTML::SimpleLinkExtor uses Test::HTTPStatus which is also up for adoption, it would make sense for me to take this over as well, please. -Nigel

Re: CPAN: tidying up your author directory
Neil: It would help tremendously to have a "delete now" feature. Sometimes I publish and CPAN testers make it clear that I've sent something that doesn't work somewhere, but a deletion takes a few days. -Nigel -- Nigel Horne Conductor: Rockville Brass Band, Washington Metropolitan GSO @nigelhorne | fb/nigel.horne | bandsman.co.uk | concert-bands.co.uk | www.nigelhorne.com Unless it's for my eyes only, please use "reply all"
Re: Module submission LWP::Description
Brian, Thanks for your response. The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: LWP::Description DSLIP: idpOg description: Get the description of a web page userid: NHORNE (Nigel Horne) chapterid: 15 (World_Wide_Web_HTML_HTTP_CGI) communities: similar: rationale: I thought I'd seen a CPAN module to do this already, but I must have been wrong. Were you thinking of HTML::HeadParser for instance? I think LWP is the wrong place to put this since LWP deals with many things that aren't HTML. How about HTML::Description if HTML::HeadParser doesn't do what you want? I've put a lot of work into minimizing traffic into my POC code, for example with the use of if-modified-since and caching none of which would be relevant in an HTML:: module. Regards, -Nigel
Rename CGI::Untaint::URL::Facebook to CGI::Untaint::Facebook
CGI::Untaint doesn't support subclasses, so I can't write the class as CGI::Untaint::URL::Facebook after all. Please rename the class in pause from CGI::Untaint::URL::Facebook to CGI::Untaint::Facebook. Thanks. -Nigel smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature

HTML::FormatData
Is HTML::FormatData still being maintained? It has had no work for 5 years even though it has a number of CPAN failures and outstanding bugs. If not, could I take over its maintenance? My pause ID is NHORNE. -Nigel
