Re: [MOPO] LASER DISCS
Commonly, no, I don't think so. But there are still a few that can fetch good money. It depends mostly on whether any of the laserdisc's contents have ever been released in another format. Check out this site: www.lddb.com You can get a listing of all the LDs that people are selling, sorted by price. Note that some of the ones that are priced highest are music-related, rather than movies (because a lot of those music titles never got a DVD release). -- Steven Warren Hill shil...@sbcglobal.net shil...@yahoo.com From: Kirby McDaniel ki...@movieart.net To: MoPo-L@LISTSERV.AMERICAN.EDU Sent: Sat, March 10, 2012 6:02:29 PM Subject: [MOPO] LASER DISCS Is anyone buying laser discs these days? Re: [MOPO] LASER DISCS
I use to have them. The picture quality and sound is better than VHS tapes but not as good as DVD or Blu-ray. If the titles are not out on DVD or Blu-ray there might be some demand.
