Re: [MOPO] Looking for Dr. No one sheet

2020-08-09 Thread allen day
Hi Sue,

I may have a fair to good example of that poster.

I'll check my flat files; if I find ... I'll shoot some pics.

If not, I'll let you know either way within 24 hrs.

2020-08-09 Thread Tom Martin
hello Mopoians- I am curious how the covid crisi has affected everyones
poster business.

have you noticed a sale increase ora sales slump?

have you noticed stress up or are people handlingit well?

are you able to forcast a plan as inpast or are you ata loss for what to
do next?

what resources do you go to for securityand support?

has the collectible arena expanded or FRoze?

will the economy be affected by the election this year?? and teh
economy?
will your personal spending be held back orwill you speculate and buy
more
or try to monitor the weatherand tides of political , and economic
conditions'

are you Optimistic or pessimistic ??

if so how are you swayed?

Did you foresee the crisi and have a stockpile of cash reserves? To ride
out loss ofsales ora slow down

how long will the slowdown affect your economy?

How long can you Ride OUT the cash drain before you Run out of resources

has this had effect on your relationships. job. emotional well being
health both mental and physical spiritual

Do you have a disaster plan in place for what if scenario ?
What precautions Have you taken To plan for your family And projections
On what to prepare for?

In closing Do You believe there is a time projection For the end of the
Crisis

Will The Economy Stabilize Or go in to a free fall?

Do you see this as an opportunity To acquire More movie posters And
collectibles

Or is that a time To reduce Material things
And Find alternative Ways to generate income

How many have considered retirement?
I'll be 64 next week
And all I learned In the 64 years Plus $.10 May get me a cup of coffee
Personally I've learned to live on less, Forgive more Be thankful
Love everyone, accept that we are all in the same boat really
That all the money in the world Does not bring peace or joy
With That kindness and friendship It Is priceless

The other day A senior center Director called me And said I have a man
74 years old

We Sold real estate With a former teacher, Who taught Special ed kids

He is depressed and lonely And we're just like someone to talk to, So I
called him

And he came over, And we sat in the backyard In plastic lawn chairs
Socially distanced
And I gave him A bottle of water
Basically You just broke up with a girlfriend And all the nonprofits He
was trying to get work with

We're rejecting him
I understood him Very well
Exactly had experience With losing Financially, Real estate, Having too
going to chapter 13 reorganization Bankruptcy,

Then after Heading off all my debt I got a divorce
I've had an intellectual property trademark disputes
Health problems with my heart Eyes , Left ear went deaf
I have had unrequited love.
I've made Over 5 million And the same time Almost lost everything I own
Except after my divorce
I did keep get to keep my trademark And the remains of my inventory
Of a business That this year is 44 years old Selling motion picture
related items

For me I basically said I don't know what I'm doing I don't think I ever
did
But I'm so thankful For the customers And people I have met on lifes
path

And For the blessings I feel Has to come from God
Not to destroy me

But to change me, Teach me How to overcome adversity In many situations
I referred to my Experience Is a chaos management expert :)
I have had many mentors along the way Back in 1976 It started with Mel
Blanc

Told me I could be honest staying show business!!

He told me : " Just remember There are some people, And some Not so good
people

Try your best to network with the good people

In 2007 Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Gave me an order For the clapboards I
make So he could giveaway at the Governors conference To governors all
over the US

I was just emerging From my divorce in 2000, I numerous Windfall
blessings Of orders
That came out of the blue Kept me Able to pay bills Keep my business
expenses In check

I have learned how to budget so well
That ive considered All adversity I have sustained Was to prepare me
For this unforeseen crisis

After I was read my last rites in 2012 When almost died from sepsis
When I came off the ventilator The nurse said He must have something
else for you to do

He Being Jesus-I was at a Catholic hospital St annes

so if If I can help any of you in anyway With a phone call And explain
How I have been able to survive

I would be honored To help
Although I cannot donate Financial help
I can tell you How are learn to budget money, Use less resources Like
gas and electric

Hard learn to eat less
And how friendship and prayer Is been the cornerstone Of my personal
recovery

I don't have all the answers But For me God has

The hardest part Is to be patient an wait on God answers
The other thing I've learned
Unconditional love Is the solution To all the worlds problems
And what every single Human seeks

Kindness peace and love And forgiveness
I believe that's the whole purpose of life For us to learn
Why this crisis Is actually A lesson To teach us what's really important

[MOPO] FA: a few HOURS left on eMoviePoster.com's 1,200 auctions of 283 non-U.S. posters from 19 countries AND 495 "special" rolled posters AND 422 rolled one-sheets

2020-08-09 Thread Bruce Hershenson
*Just a few HOURS left on eMoviePoster.com's 1,200 auctions of 283 non-U.S.
posters from 19 countries AND 495 "special" rolled posters AND 422 rolled
one-sheets at http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html
and there are LOTS of great
deals!*

How great are they? As of right now, 167 are at just $1, and 412 of them
are at $1 to $5. And most of the ones that are over just $5 are WAY under
where the same or similar posters have sold for in the past (like $50
posters at $10, $100 posters at $20, etc). Isn't it nice in this time of
rampant inflation that there are still LOTS of $1 to $5 original vintage
movie posters available on eMoviePoster.com *(and we have NO "buyers
premiums", so $1 is REALLY $1, and not "$1 plus a $19 buyers premium")?*

What's more, we let you accumulate all the "rolled" items you buy in a
TWELVE week period (using our unmatched "Pay and Hold" plan) and we will
combine them into the fewest tubes possible, which saves you a fortune over
buying from multiple sellers! But you can't get the great deals and
"steals" on these very varied posters if you aren't bidding, and you need
time to go through 1,200 of them, so go to the above link now (or very
soon) because in HOURS all these posters will be going, going, *GONE*!

Not yet registered to bid? Go to
https://auctions.emovieposter.com/Registration.taf to sign up (we qualify
our bidders, something few auctions do, which means you will always be
bidding against real bidders who honor their bids). And if YOU are not
interested in these, but have friends who would be (because they collect
items like these or would find just one of interest) then do us (and them!)
a favor by helping spread the word to them before these close!
