Re: [MOPO] HA and movie posters - the future?
wow best to Grey good gentleman Tom Hollywood dream factory® since 1977 On 2022-02-04 05:44, Tommy Barr wrote: Living in UK I didn't have the personal relationship with Grey that many other MOPers have, but when I had any problems with HA (all too frequent) he was the man to sort them, efficiently and fairly. It is my suspicion that we will now see changes to HA's weekly movie poster auction. I would not be surprised to find that they move from a solely movie offer to all poster genres, and some of the recent auctions have had a fair quantity of music, advertising and war posters. Also, given the recent hike of minimum buyers' premium to $29, HA abhor low value items so I would expect there might now be a tendency to impose a minimum estimate or reserve ($100+?). As I said, those are surmises, but I am pretty certain that Grey's departure heralds some changes.
