Re: [MOPO] Revised Grading Standards at Heritage

2023-07-10 Thread Greg Douglass
Just had a look at the poster in question.

Sheeesh! Who does the grading, Helen Keller? (Actually, the amazing Ms. Keller would have felt the edges and signed, "Fair; good at best."

At least the stars look great...but those borders!

"Other than that!" indeed, Peter.

Fine is still a generous grade. It's missing two corners, the other two corners have some loss, there is a chunk out of the top border with a 3 +" tear going into image, multiple smaller border tears, and some minor scrapes and crimping in the image area. Other than that!

I've been told many things one Brazilian jazz singer told me to keep on
swimming and I've been told keep on rockin and now keep on cooking

The main thing I've been doing is keep on praying for all mankind and
for God's will to be done I can't tell you how many times I've recited
the Lord's prayer because Christ told us to do that and I think it's
very poignant
My woman case manager from Medicaid came by today and she gave me her
testimony why she became a caseworker cause she's been a nurse for 42
years and she started to cry because she couldn't help people that
needed her help so she stopped practicing as a nurse and became a
caseworker I was very touched because she started to cry and I said
thank you so much because your testimony was just what I needed today to
know that there are three people that truly care and are just as lost as
I am and we just all have to keep trusting in God for the answers as
humanity has proven it is incapable of managing itself because of greed
and anger
anger and pride and inability to accept that it's about forgiveness and
love and helping each other we are here just a short time maybe 100
years if you're at most

Trying to save artifacts of the motion picture of the screen remind me
what king Solomon said that all is vanity and grasping for the wind he
cautions us not to even save books so what did I do saved tons of books
magazines and posters thinking I was some kind of a archivist preserving
pop-culture history when most of it will be forgotten several years from
now and only a few museum cheerleaders who even be interested the facts
are being so covered up that's why there is so much misinformation on
the Internet of what even happened and people argue claiming to have
correct answers

If you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt in fact who cares an who
will care 100 years from now?
