[MOPO] Mopo- memories, Poster, memorabil and legacy

2023-10-28 Thread Tom Martin
I was just thinking as last night i stared to sift through boxes of
stuff i saved years and years notes.. contactsand memories.. I saved
everything,,,

whenyou need to go in reverse and are visual impaired and missinga foot
its a bit overwhelming...

but here is what i do

one giveit to God... Tom has limited brainpowerand whenyou getintoa
crisis it compounds likea bad investment... but youwill find mostofthe
stuff is not needed and evenifyou trash it it clears mental space..like
weedinga garden.. so you can focusontasks at hand.. Hording andsaving
stuffand not dealing with it freezes the ability to handle it...

so ifyou weed out it gets clear er what you have... I callit BABY
steps// we dont get screwed up overnight... put onweight..smole ,drink
bad habits so same with debts bad marriage,,, anybad habit, atsame time
even geting OCD or being organized can bea set up fora great fall i
was organized but dothe shell game on my stuffand i become
disoriented... lost..so what to do??
star over///and Practice again..its the same as 1st time you sift out
trash and give away. throww out.. or repurpose the stuff.. or sell it..
or reorganize it.. sound simple?? its NOT... if you collected 46-50
years it will look like raiders ofthelost ark scene inthe warehouse..I
save hardware, packing, parts, Books posters suff i rediscover because
old men havea habit called maybe ill need this later so we buyintriple
everything ..we think we will uselater so 5 10 years go buy and it get
buried under boxes and stuff ,, so we also forget we have itas we wge...
so it ends upimn a estate saleor Garage sale.. I bought things for years
from estate sales... we tuck awayand say someday ill sell it or enjoy
it... but it can become our TOMB of stuff my Garage has tools i have
notseen in 10 20 years.if i saw plumbing parts ata sale id buy it
Justin case RIGHT???

we call people like that a pack rat or Horder... many inthe 1929 great
depression did this as they feel its security,, but fact is if youkeep
lean and justwhat you need you are mobile and dont need the same spaceto
dust or the smell of musty books, posters and all as if you save stuffit
can be 100s of years old like newspapers comics etc...so keep it
simple// dont look at me ima living train wreck..but even at 67 i can go
inreverse...and clean up my life..

I just thought what will people say afteri croak..well 1st he talked
alot and was verble

wheni dontated to the bg pop culture dept the director said: you want to
preserve your legacy..i said NO i want young kids to see whati did and
enjoy the history of memorabilia so that was my hope..I dont care
ifthey know who i amas i see i have always beena small blip onthe
screen...I haventevenseen movie my son saw so iam not a cinema expert as
some claim..i just have kicked around for67 years and learneda few
things..but really i know very little...

so i thoughtifi craok soon what would ilike??? well i would like people
to Laughand smile and talk about the silly stuffi didandperhaps if
possible help My son and friends and each other,,, that would be
cool..and help those suffering inthe world which is all of us..

what the celebs i was able to meet seemed to share with me was
grattitude asthey learned how lucky theyw were to even do anything and
they loved what they did..butlife is a journeyand we can go up the
mountain and fall down and if we can help ease thepain of others we
have truly found the purpose of life..whenwe understand the
sufferingofanotherwe have learned our lesoon on what God wanted us to
know so we could value his plan and education..so then we Graduate
fromthis short life... its a great plan andi find myself thanking God
for my trials and failures a sufferingas its allowed me to understand
about everyone even the spiritually tormented ormentally ill..as they
are just sick souls in need of redeemption the bestway tolearn is by
mistakes and we all do it

when we rebel and try to fix stuff ourselves we can mess up even more..
but when we submit to God and ask for his guidance we seek his will not
ours and its a mi
mind boggling experience for me as I can't believe how things seem to be
put into place by a perfection I could never describe that defies my
mortal logic
Things don't work out according to my time logic however when you trust
that God has a purpose of goodness things work out in ways you would
never anticipate using your own brain I believe the quote is all things
work for good and God's plan to make us more like Jesus..
For the skeptics I would say I understand you very well and I question
my
my own thoughts as I am the original doubting Thomas and he had a little
faith before I asked God to show me answers to my questions about life
and purpose
When we talk about the ego or beliefs and faith and religion and
politics it can cause lots of dissension between people I share my
testimony because I'm learning from

2023-10-28 Thread Tom Martin
Glenn I never say i am sorry for you loss as i honestly dont believe
they are Gone forever... matterof facet even doctors scientists say that
they even think ther can be a after life... many celebrities at the end
ofthe earth life seem to consider it... I thought wait we gatherall
thses friends and life experience and then POOF lightsout??? even the
egyptians considered after life in Bc ..they just thought they could
take the stuff to heaven with them and it seems we dont geta U-haul
behind the hearse.. Christ says clear dontstore your treasures on earth
but in Heaven,, our memories of Loved ones. Familyand friend to me are
my best treasures..the stuff is stimuli to remind me of carrers ofthe
ctors work but the people themselves are far more deep//whenwe share
events ofa movie ora song or book it allows us to have a shared
experience.. that can be heartwarming..thats whya spielberg of Disney
can leave such a impression on our soul as well as even that bad
experience like war, shootsingand hate.. I prefer the memories of Love.
empathy. kindnessand charity over anger and hate and violence but why
God allows us to experience the loss of Love and health is so we can see
how those things are such gifts/// i meta lady inthe nurseing home who
was likea zombie..alzheimers..andshe was so scared she justwandered the
halls they treated herlikea zombie.. one day i said: look i am scared
also.. but maam Jesus has not left us...and she grabbed my hand and said
you are right!! you are right!!and she like cvcame outofthe zombie
trance and talked likea normal person..I said tothe nurses shes fine
just needs to be comforted..many suffer PTSD aftera incidentof extreme
stres Just ask the military people..and its Universal with stress.. no
mater age, faith..money income.when life gets so out of order the mind
buckles from stress.and we get lost and some times angered at others or
we stop being able to do basic functions/// I get itandive seen it in
Motion .. so I acctually THank Jesus for my sufferings as its educated
me on others ...i dont havea cure all for everyone but in a way i do///
Pray to god and tell him your sorrow..he understands more then docs more
then therapistss,,as he knows suffering verywell.. but on hislast earth
breath he asked his father toforgive them as they didntknow what
theywere doing..in otherwords he saw mortal men were ignorant ..even
though theywere leaders of the world and had powerand money.. theywere
all justas vulnerable as the next guy... I get it and thats why i
toofail as iam Human with Human deesires..and the horrible EGO.. that
tricks us

so Glenn You will be ok I believe at night ..pray to god and your
familyand friends they have GPS and hear youand just tell them you were
so thankful for the memories and just look forward to being reunited
someday whenits your graduation time//and reflect onthe memories like we
do when we look at our memorabilia and share it with othersGod bless
you and your Family and friends and thanks for sharing your memories

  kindest regards

I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

I recently lost my father, two of my closest and dearest friends, a
sympatico high school chum who shared my love of pre-1950
entertainment and the "godmother" of my acting career after 7 years of
helping her through a valiant battle with Alzheimer's.

Words alone can't compensate for your feelings right now. But I
understand what you're going through.

I wish you joy in their memory.

Warmest regards,

Thanks Toochis..I agree andi beliebve we see friends and even pets after
this short life we learn inthis life to forgive, to value others
andlearn how short it is Iam still learning .. thanks for you words oof
Kindness ..
I had another friend who is going through stress as many are and i got
upset with him last night ..hes going to be 79 and he was trying
toliston Marketplace.. I tried to help him and offered to look at the ad
he made for a Santa clause 5 foot doll that was broke and animated ...he
called me " stevie wonder" becauseiam visual impaired . . I told him off
as i said it hurts when he makes fun of my disabilities//and i realized
that he was responding with unkind words because he was stressed about
life but I myself got upset because I was trying to help him and I don't
know how to use marketplace myself my friend my friend has a drinking
problem and his family does not respect him and one of his friends
didn't pick him up to take him home from the car repair appointment so I
had to realize and forgive him but I did tell him it was unacceptable to
call me Stevie Wonder and make light of my visual impairment when all I
was trying to do was help him you can look at world events and see that
everybody's over reacting when they are angered or threatened like in
the big picture my grandmother used to say sticks and stones may break
your bones but words will never hurt me I understand how people on the
Internet can be harmed by words when people bully on them or call them
names and make fun of their sexual gender or their disabilities if they
cannot do differently I'll get over it and my friend is the one who
really needs prayer he must be in a very sad place to have to attack his
friend trying to help him I understand he has a deeper problem than I do
because I am learning to adapt to my disabilities and his is ruining his
friendship with his family and friends so I will pray for him but sure
it hurt
Have a wonderful Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas TOOCHIS THE

Pray for Gaza ,, Israel, Ukraine, Russia and all people on Earth seems
everyone is stressed from POlitics, weather, money woes, health issues,
family lossand Unions that are struggling..Just in La the varied jobsof
support to others affect many inthe Entertainment Industry.seems like
everyone has ben tooched and the recent shootings of mass are so surreal
i cant even fathom it..as everyone seems to be cracking up..mental
health seems to be theissue and stems fromthat fact that many dont havea
life raft from stress.. like faith in anything..so my problems are smal
compared to the worlds overall..we must be thankful for everythingand
