Hi All-- Last week, Gene Bauer, Gerry Hoestra, and I found ourselves surrounded by Bobolinks in the Big Woods State Park restored prairie. I photographed numerous birds giving curious wing flutters--either territorial or aggressive behaviors (http://dantallmansbirdblog.blogspot.com).
If you have not been to this prairie, it is worth visiting. It is on the southwest corner of the park.
