John Richardson found the dove on Park Point near 31st Street on Wednesday and
it is still present this morning at 25th Street perched on a utility wire. I'm
posting this because it has not been reported yet on mounet and it's possible
some visiting birders
could be in Duluth this weekend who'd be interested.

I believe this is only the third St Louis Co record, with the two previous
collared-doves in Duluth disappearing shortly after being seen. There's also a
Two Harbors record, maybe two, and the species has been seen several times in
recent years in Grand Rapids. Otherwise, this species has been essentially
absent in NE Minn.
