[mou-net] injured bird

2011-06-28 Thread Forest Strnad
A man at our good feed store found a blind cardinal,  so he decribes it,
inquired what he should do with it. I thought it best to destroy it. He said he
couldn't do it.  What suggestion do you have for me to give to him?

He should bring it to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville.
The vets there will know if the bird is blind and whether or not it's
treatable.
If he can't travel up here, perhaps someone else can; or the bird
could be relayed to someone willing to meet him halfway between
there and Roseville.
