I found the problem: current directory must be the acosysv4 directory. So first cd acosysv4 then start Acosys. Thanks for your report, I use './themes/...' and only current active directory will work. I should change it with extractfilepath(sys_getapplicationpath); But if you run Acosys from desktop shortcut, it's work. The main window should be as small as possible so it overlaps as less as possible space if raised by main menu activation. Me got used to this scheme because it allows to see build messages as soon long as the build process goes (initiated by the debug window). But really, the components palette is better to float. ___ MSEide-MSEgui-talk mailing list MSEide-MSEgui-talk@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/mseide-msegui-talk

Ah, is that the reason for the design in MSEide. Now it makes sense. BTW: I'm starting to see your logic about storing editor settings per project too - instead of global settings like Delphi or Lazarus. I've switched some of my projects to using TAB character indentation, but most of my projects are still 2 Space character indentation. Using MSEide to switch between projects is a breeze - editor settings is always correct. On the other hand, using Lazarus is a pain - because I need to keep adjusting my editor settings depending on which project I am working on. Your ideas might be non standard, but they clearly have been given some thought, and DO work in the real world. Keep up the good work! :-) I agree with you. Martin always use non standard concept. But He create new standard. Special for theme concept (and for others concept), I never found GUI with custom theme and very complete. I create GUI translation for end users to allow user to create their custom theme as they needed. Very easy as we paint in canvas.
