Patriek, But will UZIX support the Philips NMS1210 RS232 interface? If I have enough information about it, I can make a driver for it. Does the NMS1210 RS232 interface have ROMBIOS? IIRC I got 28k8 (modem top-speed) connection on Z80 3.58MHz using ERIX. Remember that ERIX takes all the control over the computer. UZIX is a multitask operating system, so it does many things, and not only serial communication. The maximum speed (with no errors) I got with UZIX was 19200bps. At 38400bps the error rate was too high. BUT maybe you can reach 28800bps with no errors. Just a test with a 28800 modem can show this.
