Coul it not be that because of the nature of MSX-binaries (compressed and non-compressed) most of the time an AV-scanner detects a virus? This info comes from long-time msx user Cyberknight, I hope you can check it: --cyberknight speaking I found an archive on Funet infected with a PC virus. http://www.funet.fi/pub/msx/magazines/compile_discstation/DS%2324B.LZH I'm trying to see if I can warn someone about it (there's another mirror on this file on mirrors, without the virus, so I think nothing was lost). I think the danger lies in people who use MSX simulators and unwisely copied the faulty image to real disk... Confirmed. I don't know what virus it is, but the bootsector is definitely corrupted.
