Re: [mb-style] RFC-359: Allow links to video channels on sites other than Youtube
Hm, no +1s from anyone else? Then +1 from me. It's been long enough that you should be able to send an RFV when you're ready. Nikki Calvin Walton wrote: Was RFC-358 - renumbered due to conflicts. Please continue any discussion in this thread! I have made some of the updates suggested by nikki. In particular: * The list of URLs is now in the proposal page, and will be added to Style/Relationships/URLs if the proposal passes. * The wording of the description has been updated - now it's videos curated by the entity, rather than videos published by the entity. This means that things like an artist-curated list of bootleg recordings are allowed - and automatically-generated playlists aren't. At the moment, I'm still waiting to hear back from nikki about whether this would be best as a new AR or as a modification of the Youtube AR; either way the final guidelines will be the same. Please tell me what you think! Calvin Walton wrote: Ok. So in this case, adding the new generic 'Video Channel' AR as the parent of the existing Youtube AR in the tree would be acceptable? Yes, that would be fine. Please tell me what you think! I've been told we should create a new relationship type. If we want to only have one, we can do that but we should still add a new relationship type and then have a script to migrate the existing ones.
