Does anyone know what command I am looking for? Hi Dan, you may prefix it with a ; that is, after tagging messages, press ';s' (without quotes). Or you might mean C (copy message) instead of s. -- regards, GPG key 1024D/4434BAB3 2008-08-24 gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv-keys 4434BAB3

Hello ! Scott Scriven wrote on 26.11.1999 13:39:48 -0700: Hi. Is there any way to tag many messages in mutt, then save them all at once to a particular message folder? I've figured out how to do most "pine" things in mutt, but haven't had any luck finding this. Try this: t tag mail t tag mail t tag mail ... and so on ; define next command as executed on tagged messages you will get a "tag-" prefix for your cmd prompt s save mail then you can define the folder where all tagged messages are saved. Yes, sure there is ;-) Prefix the command you want to execute (save) with a ";", that is, type ";s" to save all tagged messages. You may want to use set auto_tag in your .muttrc, which automagically does this for you if you have tagged messages.
