Sure. bind index up previous-entry bind index down next-entry You may possibly also want to repeat those lines for the pager (pager instead of index). You can look up the function names from the help screen, and then just do an appropriate bind, if you want to do more key remapping... For more info, refer to the manual, the section about the bind command. Cool... thank you muchly. I'll have to take a closer look at the manual also for more keymappings. =) -- [EMAIL PROTECTED], OpenPGP key available on www.keyserver.net Freezer Burn BBS: telnet://bbs.freezer-burn.org . Or, rather, a message flagged for deletion (this is, obviously, prior to me exiting the mailbox and having it write the changes). Use 'J' to move to the next message and 'K' to move to the previous message. 'J' and 'K' move the cursor to any message, even a deleted message, whereas 'j' and 'k' move the cursor to only undeleted messages. Note that these keys, 'J' and 'K' are upper case (i.e., capital or shifted) letters and are different from the lower case 'j' and 'k' usually used for moving the cursor. You'd be surprised how many people miss that distinction. Regards, Gary -- Gary Johnson | Agilent Technologies [EMAIL PROTECTED] | RF Communications Product Generation Unit | Spokane, Washington, USA

Maybe you can go above the message which is marked with a 'D' and then you are be able to press 'u' two times and you will see that the former 'D' isn't there. bye - Wilhelm -- Wilhelm Wienemann __ / /__ _ _ _ _ __ __ (° (o- / /__ / / / \// //_// \ \/ / -°) -°) //\ //\ // /_/ /_/\/ /___/ /_/\_\ /\\ /\\ V_/_ v_/_ # Enjoy Linux and the Power of Open Source # _\_V _\_V

You want to bind previous- / next-entry to up / down in the index. (section 6.2) HTH, Michael -- BASIC is the Computer Science equivalent of `Scientific Creationism'.
