[MLO] starred

2015-12-09 Thread Nick Clark
The All Tasks and Starred views are different types. The All Tasks is an
Outline view showing everything including folders. The Starred view is an
Action view, showing tasks that can be actioned, in this case filtered by those
with a star set.

So, PUSH is not implemented yet, therefore, to get updates from desktop we
just need to open MLO application on the phone. With PUSH it will be
updated in background when device is sleeping.

I have understood exactly as you.
And to get the PUSH way we have to wait.
When the feature will come it will be a matter of setting for those that do not

Re: [MLO] Had to Create a New File to Sync To -- How Do I Get my Views Back?

2015-12-09 Thread Dwight Arthur
Hi. Views dont travel through sync. You can move views from one .ml file to
another by exporting them (right-click on a view name and select export) to an
.mfv file then load the new .ml file, right-click any view name and select
import.

Be sure not to try to import views that already exist on the new profile, or
it will get confusing.

You should be able to multi-select views and export them all to a single file.
I cant verify that right now because of issues on my computer.

Your cloud file might be damaged in which case any procedure tat includes
synching wit that file might fail. Test it as follows: create a new blank
profile and synch it with your cloud file. If that succeeds, you should
consider using this newly synched profile as the target for your view imports.
It will have more up-to-date tasks than your backup.

If this sync fails then you should delete the cloud file. Create a new blank
cloud file, restore a backup, and synch to the blank file. If you have a phone
MLO, synch it to tge same new cloud.

There doesn't appear to be a problem syncing my new desktop file to the
cloud, so -- considering I'm going to need to re-create my automatic

Is there a recommended procedure from restoring from my latest backup

saving as a new .mlo file?

[MLO] How does one sort tasks in MLO v2 for Android?

2015-12-09 Thread Holmes245
I'm sitting here looking for documentation on how to use the Android app
for MLO 2 and not sure where to look. I'm trying to figure out how to sort
tasks in the Active Actions view on the app. Is there a sort feature
somewhere? I have to say that the app isn't intuitive and needs
documentation if there isn't any.
