Could this be related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/+bug/477664 ? No. Without that, the lcd server would work at all. Mine is working fine, because I already added this host setting. I'm not too familiar with mythlcdserver myself. What's actually spawning it? I really have no idea. But my best guess is, that this happens from mythfrontend.
