2012-10-27 Thread Network Operation Center FMC Luxemburg

Hi Everybody

It's possible to have more colors of 'red', green', 'orange' for
displaying the alerts ?

The principe should be so in the en plugins :

- The variable STATE_WARNING = 1 gives an orange colorfor the display
- It's possible to create a new variable (i.e. STATE_SOMETHING)
valorised by a particular evenement, and associated with a blue color
for example?

Thanks alot,

[Nagios-users] Newbie: controlling bad packets.

2011-12-27 Thread Network Operation Center FMC Luxemburg

Hi the List,

I would control if bad packets has been rejected on a given lan for any
or several machines

A command like this :

check_rejected_packets -L lan address, i.e 192.168.0.0, or a lot of
addresses, or an intervall -T elapsed times in seconds

Any ideas? A plugin exists for this control?

[Nagios-users] IP and hostname mapping control

2010-06-29 Thread Network Operation Center FMC Luxemburg

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for a way to check out the mapping between a hostname and IP
address.

Example: IP 192.168.0.1 exists and if the hostname foo.mylan.com is not
associated with this IP, I would have an alarm.

Indeed the script below returns no alarm :

define host {
use unix-server
host_name   foo.mylan.com
display_namefoo
address 192.168.0.1
check_command   check_http
}

define service {
uselocal-service
host_name  foo.mylan.com
service_description   HTTP local
check_command  check_http
}

Any idea?

Thanks a lot

/As you can see we need 5 minute precission for 2 years in our graphs,
this results into 5M rrd files for one measuring point/.

I have tried changing the memory_limit in my php.ini file from 8M

Is there a hardcoded memory limit in the
