Kevin,

if you enable rpmforge (https://rpmrepo.org/RPMforge), you can find nagios 3.0.6

[Nagios-users] Nagios 3 RPMs for CentOS?

2009-01-30 Thread Kevin Keane
So far, I've been running Nagios on opensuse, but am moving to a CentOS
5.2 (x86_64) server now. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any recent
Nagios RPMs for that OS (and for various reasons, I can't compile from
source). I did find some 2.x RPMs, but really prefer to use the 3.x release.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

There's some discussion going on right now on the rpmforge list with
respect to making the 2.x -> 3.x transition reasonably smooth.
Are you familiar with building rpms at all? I can send you a spec file
based on the packages by dag/rpmforge which will allow you to build
nagios 3 binary packages.
