[Nagios-users] nrpe and critical state
I am doing a check which counts the number of process running on the remote host. Lets say for whatever reason nrpe could not establish connection during the test. In this situation, should it not go to UNKNOWN state. However I see its going to critical state. Please advise on this. From the check_nrpe usage message: Options: -n = Do no use SSL -u = Make socket timeouts return an UNKNOWN state instead of CRITICAL From: shadih rahman [mailto:shadhi...@gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 25, 2010 11:35 AM To: nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: [Nagios-users] nrpe and critical state I am doing a check which counts the number of process running on the remote host. Re: [Nagios-users] nrpe and critical state
nrpe -u option does not work if nrpe is shutdown in the remote host. Re: [Nagios-users] nrpe and critical state
I found this link. I am running nagios version 3.2.0, can someone please verify if this path has been integrated with 3.2.0 or not? Please advise on this.
