Little demonstration - A Robert R66 that I restored to give to an artist 
friend for his 60th birthday last year - the radio was made in 1957 (year 
of his birth - you can check via the serial number) and so were all the 
valves (all Mullard, 1957 date codes).

Playing a YouTube Monty Python sketch via a media server over an AMT 3000 
AM pantry transmitter via a wireless Raspberry Pi with an IQaudIO DAC+ 
driving it.

Squeezebox->Vortexbox/YouTube->Max2Play/RPi->IQaudIO DAC+->AMT-3000 pantry 
transmitter on 702kHz->Roberts R66

He meant drivers watch. This is a style that was available in the
seventies in LED watches. The display is visible without tilting your
wrist. But I assume you have to press a button, or shake your wrist,
or something, to activate the display.
Whether they are practical is another question.
