My friend in russia called pochta and they said "all shipments are in hold
until enough to fill a cargo aircraft, 2 aircraft per week"

Can confirm, saw a 3 week customs delay from Pochta customs, now my package
has "left russia" May 4th with no updates since.

Maybe sitting in a container in a yard somewhere, who knows.

I've thought about this too. I suspect a q-switched laser might be able to
blow off the coating without damaging glass, but I have not tested this
theory.
