Hi folks,

I was just going through some old files and I found these two pictures of an old Ebay listing for some sort of RCA (?) indicator lab sample:

Does anybody have more information about this? I am not even sure what kind of device we are dealing with. Judging from the coated wires it is probably gas-filled, making this a gas discharge display. In 2011, after it was discovered on Ebay, it was conjectured that Giorgio Basile won the auction, see his magnificent website here: http://www.lampes-et-tubes.info/index-e.htm . Unfortunately, it is not listed there. So I am wondering: does anyone around here have pictures of this wonderfully interesting tube in action?

I am curious to hear your thoughts.

Cheers
Jens
