I had the same problem, but not on fedora.

My system was registered ok and updating untill today I got also the
same message
with nessus-update-plugins

I'll checked nessus-fetch --check and gave me this
nessus-fetch --check
An error occured: Account expired

I request a registration key again, and registered nessus for the second
time, that was succesfull
updates where also successfull.

But when I try to start I'll get this:
[# ][1193] Won't
allocate a pointer of size -1616611401 !
Aborted

I'll still have to check the log-files.
but if someone have an idea?

I installed Nessus 3 on a new Fedora core 4 platform. Everything went
fine and I successfully registered - at least I received a message
saying my account registration was successful. The plugins did not
update, however, and when I try to update the plugins I keep getting "
 An error occurred: Account expired".

 How can I fix this?

 Thanks!

Solaris 9 installation problems

2005-12-30 Thread Patrick Hawley

Cheers,

I'm trying to install nessus 2.2.6 onto
a Solaris 9 box.
Several installation attempts using
both the automated script (nessus-installer-2.2.6.sh) and being compiled
locally result in the following make errors.
I suspect this has something to do with
my local environment, but I'm not sure where to look first.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Patrick
