Cool link! I think it works best 'cause of the audio and video. Either on its own would just be a bit too chaotic. I did a few experiments with this myself last year http://www.hellocatfood.com/2010/03/29/its-just-noise/ I think with sonification things can sometimes be a bit too random, but in this case it seems to work though..
