Re: [NetBehaviour] The Netartizen project ends now

2015-04-08 Thread Randall Packer
Hi Joumana,

Thank you for your comments. As Marc mentioned, we are reviewing both the
NetArtizens Project and the Art of the Networked Practice | Online Symposium
to determine next steps. That said, we are incredibly grateful for the
participation and enthusiasm, which included more than 40 countries around
the world. The opportunities for creative dialogue / DIWO on a global scale
in a real-time format has enormous potential.

All best,

Randall

Dear Organisers, thinkers, strategisers of Net Artizan

I would love to congratulate you and thank you for pushing the boundaries of
what there is and making things happen.
I have been going through some of the richness of the work that has been
posted as well as the performance that has been offered last week, and I
feel overwhelmed enriched and wanting more.

thank you for inviting me to this net-party- i learned a lot and enjoyed it
despite my future-fears

here's a copypaste in the spirit of copypasters everywhere, from the
description for craig dworkin's 'no medium'

Dworkin argues that we should understand media not as blank, base things
but as social events, and that there is no medium, understood in isolation,
but only and always a plurality of media: interpretive activities taking
place in socially inscribed space.
