Re: [NetBehaviour] Video games of graffiti writing from 90s
Hi Olga, Even though this is not from the 90s, Anne-Marie Schleiner's 'Velvet Strike' is worth looking at for reference. Velvet-Strike is a collection of spray paints to use as graffiti on the walls, ceiling, and floor of the popular network shooter terrorism game Counter-Strike. Velvet-Strike was conceptualized during the beginning of Bush’s War on Terrorism. We invite others to submit their own spray-paints relating to this theme. Re: [NetBehaviour] Video games of graffiti writing from 90s
Hi Olga how is the MA in social media at Goldsmiths? I'm at the Media department. I'm not sure what you are asking here... video games in graffiti writing makes me think of street artist Space Invader (but that's not graffiti writing) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invader_(artist) or maybe you mean graffiti writing in games? this would be the Jet Set Radio series by SEGA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_Set_Radio or maybe the Sony advertising campaign for the PSP console, which used graffiti, and went terribly bad http://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/news/2005/12/69741 hope this helps :) On 29 May 2012 14:47, Olga mascolo olga.mascol...@gmail.com wrote: Hi all, I'm Olga, I'm a student in Creating Social Media, at Goldsmiths College, London.
