In trying to find a solution to why I get the following
Empty document
The document sent by the server is empty
Invariably the site is using javascript to for the request for the
next page, and without javascript you get an empty page.
when I try and log into my ISP account control pages the initial
login page requests a username and password which I duly provide,
but the log in page also says
You must have cookies enabled, and cache/temp files set to check
every
time
Apart from the cache which sees to be limited to 6.4 MB and I see
cookie files appear to saved, how do I know cookies are enabled or
are they not used yet in !Netsurf
Cookies are enabled in NetSurf and are working correctly, the
problem is again invariably the use of javscript to check for them.
The solution is to use a javascript enabled browser for the sites
which don't work with NetSurf.
When I try to do a vote on the Drobe site, I get the message 'you
must have cookies enabled'.
I'm pretty sure this has been the case ever since moving over to NS
from the O1 and O2 days. That's over two years.
However, Drobe is the only site that does this to me, and I use many
sites which are chock full of JavaScript and where I have to log-in.
The curious thing is that the Drobe index page has NO JavaScript. So
could it be that it's further back in the Server code?
After all this time, a few days ago I got round to asking Chris
Williams to sort this out, so great minds are presently at work on
this. :)
Cheers JW
Ideally in my case, unless others are seeing the empty document page,
it would be good for my ISP to create a dummy account for NS developers
to access and see what is happening.
Any NS developer think this is a good idea, if so I'll contact my ISP
and see if this is possible.

Just an update to this topic, I guess I have to live with the fact I cant
view certain pages if I use NS, and its that javascript is present on the
page I'm trying to view thats causing it..
