Yes, to all three points.

On RISC OS 5.27 (19-Apr-10) on a Titanium I see the issue with 3.8 #5472,
and also with #4321, the oldest 3.8 I have.

NetSurf 3.7 is better.

That website appears to be generated by WordPress. Buckets of CSS and
gallons of JQuery.

I find the only way to deal with such pages in NetSurf is to export them
as text.

Well, as Peter says, if it's still happening in the latest development
version, it's probably a bug, or maybe a piece of CSS or Javascript that
isn't yet implemented.

It displays the same with Javascript on or off.

Is that an issue with 3.8 for others also? Should it be logged as a bug?
Is downgrade to 3.7 the only solution right now?

Development version 3.9 (Dev CI #4572) on RISC OS makes a complete hash of
this page.

Best wishes,

3.8 breaks text on left on some sites

2019-04-18 Thread Mayuresh
I upgraded to NetSurf 3.8 on NetBSD 8.0 and find that for some websites
text is getting cut on the left hand side. A sample website:
https://indianexpress.com/article/sports/cricket/lasith-malinga-ousted-dimuth-karunaratne-to-lead-sri-lanka-world-cup-5681042/

I reverted to 3.7 and do not find this problem there.

Curious whether this happens to other users also. Is there a
setting/workaround or shall I file a bug report?
