Always keep them on unless troubleshooting but even when off I still
see no image. Likewise with Javascript - whether on or off makes no
difference. Why do other see the image?

There may be a clue - some others report NS does not load the image.

Even when it doesn't cause the crash here the image doesn't display. So
some ARMX6 display the image - some don't.

Works on RiscPC with Netsurf  3.8 Dev CI #4238 JS on. Pictures show OK.
Reminds me of "Tales of the Riverbank" BBC TV I think. You have to be of a
certain age to remember that.
