You would need to check the Select documentation to find out if there's a keyboard modifier to override this and allow the drag to work as intended. So much misinformation in this thread. It does work on RO 6.20 and previous Select versions. Ok - I have now got shift-drag to work on 6.10 - this will save file with type URL.
