You can get a cheap multimeter fo $20 or less, walmart, Harbor freight, etc. You need to know voltage at the solenoid coming from the starter button. Ive got 2 friends who r good with electrical stuff, im gonna let 1 of them come check it out Monday, cuz id rather some1 who knows what there doing do it. Not per-se... It is just a safety. Some Jeep guys (and even bikers as well) bypass the clutch safety so the can bump the vehicle forward with the starter. Don't recommend bypassing it, but it is possible.
