I am in the process of getting all of the components for maintenance work that I am unsure if the previous owner performed. Although the motorcycle runs like a champ with only a small gallop when idling, I am trying to stay ahead of any problems that may arise on a 40,000 mile CB700sc. I am going to replace the clutch, I have steel brake lines on order, I have the cam tensioner spring, along with the eight gaskets for the head cover bolts, and will pick up the valve cover gasket on Friday. I am going to also go ahead and rebuild the carbs, but I am having trouble finding rebuild kits for the carbs. They are Keihin, and the ID on the number one cylinder carb is VE85A-A(with a box around it) VJN. I am hoping that everything keeps working until I am able to get everything together and also get free 48 hours from work. Can anybody point me in the right direction for carb rebuild kits? Daily commuter which means if it is down, so am I. Also, I apologize for not helping other people out with their tech questions, but I am like Jon Snow and know nothing.
