I have to change my oil at 2,500. I have a little smoke coming out of the left side and an oil leak from the valve cover gasket. I keep a piece of cardboard in my garage to soak up the oil. I left the bike parked at the airport for a week. There was about a 2 inch circle of oil under the bike when I got home.
