In addition to what the others recommended, are there weights on the ends
of the hand grips? I believe there should be if they're stock. If there
aren't, you can look into getting weights that attach to the ends of the
handlebars. You might also consider upgrading the grips to cut down on
vibration. Kuryakyn isogrips, if you can find some that fit, cut down on
vibration, and you can also buy weights to attach to them to cut down on
vibration even more.

Long shot, but mine did that, especially hands off. It turned out to be the
steering column bearings. Put it on the center kick, sit on it so the front
wheel is off the ground and feel very carefully if there is any sort of a catch
or bump in the steering especially when passing center.

Thanks. Sounds like something I should look into (meaning bring to shop.)

[Nighthawk Lovers] Vibrations

2016-10-06 Thread Dan Cook
Hi all,

So I am finding that the bars on my 2008 250 tend to vibrate quite a bit
when I get up to about 45mph or higher. Is this normal? I weigh about 250
as well, so maybe I'm too big for this bike. Or maybe something else is up.
Just wondering...

Thanks,
Dan
