Re: [Nix-dev] Meetup in London ?
Hi z, We did have a meetup in London once - I gave a talk which is on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxRSgjPyvqQ As NixOS is still fairly niche, we felt it made sense to have the meetup maybe twice a year. I'm not sure about plans for the next one, but there is certainly interest! - Ollie On Sat, Jul 18, 2015 at 8:32 PM stewart mackenzie setor...@gmail.com wrote: You can take a look at Susan Potter's nix-cookbook https://github.com/mbbx6spp/nix-cookbook/tree/add-README You could add to that maybe? ___ nix-dev mailing list nix-dev@lists.science.uu.nl http://lists.science.uu.nl/mailman/listinfo/nix-dev ___ nix-dev mailing list nix-dev@lists.science.uu.nl http://lists.science.uu.nl/mailman/listinfo/nix-dev

[Nix-dev] Meetup in London ?
Hello, anyone wants to meetup in London to talk about their NixOS experience ? We could just gather in a co-working space and try to help each-other to package missing software or something. Or if anyone wants to talk about their grand master plan on how to overtake the universe with NixOS. I'm still pretty new to all of this and only have two packages in the nixpkgs tree. Nix expressions are still a bit of mystery for me to read and debug. At some point I had a working system installed and then my /etc/nixos/configuration.nix got erased by mistake. Now I'm back on OSX trying to run things into nix-shells. z ___ nix-dev mailing list nix-dev@lists.science.uu.nl http://lists.science.uu.nl/mailman/listinfo/nix-dev
