[nlug] Re: Nashville Linux Users Group Meeting Time (6 or 7 pm?)
My vote is for earlier also. 6p or 5p Kevin W On Jan 8, 2009, at 11:20 PM, Evan Brown nog...@gmail.com wrote: I completely understand the reasoning and the people wanting an earlier time. For other people though it can be harder to show up to the meetings if they are at 6 or so, even though they leave directly from work. That being said, it doesn't really affect me at the moment but I can see it being a problem. Wow. You commute all the way from Hoptown? That's about 1.5-2 hours each way, isn't it? Don't they have a LUG in Clarksville or something? Don Delp wrote: If I get a vote, I'll take 6pm. [nlug] Re: Nashville Linux Users Group Meeting Time (6 or 7 pm?)
He's about in the same boat I am. I live in Franklin, KY, about 15 miles South of Bowling Green and 35 mi North of Briley Parkway. There USED to be a student LUG/public LUG at WKU in Bowling Green, but that's not active (at least not by web updates, and it varies from year to year depending on student/professor involvement). I still have yet to make it to an NLUG meeting, but I do enjoy lurking about and learning more from you guys. Jim On Fri, 2009-01-09 at 09:45 -0600, Chris McQuistion wrote: Wow. CLUG is long defunct, as far as I can tell. I'm for an earlier meeting time too. On Fri, Jan 9, 2009 at 9:45 AM, Chris McQuistion cmcquist...@watkins.eduwrote: Wow. If the meeting was it 6 it would be a lot easier for me to attend. Kent --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups NLUG group.
