I completely understand the reasoning and the people wanting an
earlier time. For other people though it can be harder to show up to
the meetings if they are at 6 or so, even though they leave directly
from work. That being said, it doesn't really affect me at the moment
but I can see it being a problem.

 Hello NLUG,

It has been said by quite a a few members at the meetings that 7pm
 is
too late of a start time. This is because the meetings usually last
until around 8:30 or 9:00pm. If we wait to eat until then, people
 are
starving and they do not get home until very late at night. I would
like to take a poll of everyone who would like to change the meeting
time from the current 7:00pm to a new time of 6:00pm.

You can simply reply to this e-mail and your vote will be tallied.

 Thank you,

In case anyone cares:

http://www.sprintetfsettlement.com/php/home.php

Just thought i'd pass the info down if anyone wanted to check it out and
were on Sprint at one time starting with year 1999. Sprint has allocated
funds of up to 14 Million to take care of this lawsuit.

Cheers!

Wow. You commute all the way from Hoptown? That's about 1.5-2 hours
each way, isn't it? Don't they have a LUG in Clarksville or something?

2009-01-09 Thread Jim Peterson
He's about in the same boat I am. I live in Franklin, KY, about 15 miles
South of Bowling Green and 35 mi North of Briley Parkway. There USED to
be a student LUG/public LUG at WKU in Bowling Green, but that's not
active (at least not by web updates, and it varies from year to year
depending on student/professor involvement). I still have yet to make it
to an NLUG meeting, but I do enjoy lurking about and learning more from
you guys.

too.
