Well, I mean #1 in terms of popularity and renown.  I doubt many would argue
that Yahoo! fails to fit that bill.

Yeah, they have both the defunct gatech.edu site (I think I'll ask them to
remove that, as an experiment to see how they respond compared to Yahoo!)
and the current mhost.com one.

Thanks.  No wonder I couldn't remember the URL.  I was remembering the "open
directory" part of "dmoz open directory project" but not the "moz(illa)" part.

Thanks a lot for the pointer.  I'll start using dmoz in preference to Yahoo!
as well, and will adjust my public Bookmarks page accordingly.
